Welcome to JKM Guitars! My name is Jacob Menear and I have been making hand crafted guitars for several years now. I learnt my trade at university in London, where I began experimenting with new instrument designs and variations on the traditional guitar. My passion is in expanding the structural boundaries of guitars and doing so with as much skill and craftsmanship as possible. While I am still fairly new to luthierie, I have received awards and had special mentions in publications, and with each new instrument I make I continually learn and develop my abilities so that improvements are constantly made to both craftsmanship and my instruments designs.
